Please join us Wednesday, September 13th for our next Men's Night Out program. Douglass Clyde will share the remarkable story about the conception and constructing of the extraordinary Peace House campus which serves victims of domestic violence in Park City.
A bit about our guest speaker:
Bio: Douglas Clyde is an independent consultant providing design, permitting and entitlement services for real estate projects and resort development. His expertise includes master planning, market analysis, business plans, construction and project management of complex planning and entitlement processes.
About the Peace House: Located next to the Park City Medical Center, the new Peace House campus provides emergency shelter and transitional housing as well as clinical therapy, case management, legal advocacy, prevention education, sexual assault services, housing navigation and soon will add children's services, as well. The campus is very public and is a way of bringing domestic violence out into the open for the community and the victims. Survivors who come to Peace House are able to rebuild their lives and work toward securing employment and, eventually, permanent housing.
