Please join us at the home of Stan Rosenzweig for our next Men’s Night Out on Thursday evening, March 23rd. Our guest presenter will be our own Fritz Edelstein, who will share his experiences, and behind the scenes perspective, of his almost 30 years working for the U.S. Department of Education.
A bit about our guest speaker:
Fritz Edelstein served from 1974 to 2003 in a variety of educational positions at the U.S. Department of Education. His last position, from 1993 to 2003, was as the Director of Constituent Relations which required him to create and manage strategic relations and public engagement efforts involving all of education’s stakeholders. Following his retirement from the Department he became a Senior Consultant for education at the U.S. Conference of Mayors.
Dr. Edelstein has a B.A. from Washington University (St. Louis, MO) in Political Science; M. Ed from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in Elementary Education; and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in the politics of education.
