Men's Night Out: China - Then and Now

Wednesday, January 22 - 6 pm

Location Park City, Utah. Address given after RSVP.

Dinner provided - $20 at the door

Guest Speaker: Don Stanger

As the top IBM executive for Marketing and Development in China from 1983-1986, Don Stanger was deeply involved with China’s leaders in the early days of the opening of their markets. He hoped that helping China to develop economically and technologically would result in more freedom for their citizens. This did not happen. Mr. Stanger has keen observations about the current Chinese threats to the US and insights into winning strategies to counter the Chinese Communist Party’s aggression. Following his work in China, Mr. Stanger was the Head of International Marketing for IBM in the U.S.

After leaving IBM, he was the head of two global software companies and in 2000 founded the Transational Group LLC. He and his wife moved to Park City in 2024.
