A bit about our guest speaker:
Bio: Miriam Footer’s TV and film career began at age 12 in Detroit when she hosted a local children’s television show. She had been bitten by the TV and film bug and in 1989 she graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in TV and Film Production. During her 34 year career she has worked on TV, film and commercials as a production coordinator, production manager, and director and is a member of the Directors Guild of America. Two of her most memorable projects are “The Official Film for the 2002 Winter Olympics” and “Lewis & Clark” for IMAX. However, with hundreds of projects “in the can” she is still learning and still incredibly engaged in an ever-changing industry.
