About Richard Hatch:

Although Richard Hatch holds two graduate degrees in Physics from Yale University, he is a lifelong professional "deceptionist.” He honed his craft at Houston's Magic Island Nightclub before devoting himself to private and corporate work, traveling internationally.

In the world of magic, he is known for his translation of “Jews in Magic,” a 1933 book in German about the wonderful contributions of Jewish magicians. The New York Times recently devoted 3-pages of their Arts & Leisure section to Mr. Hatch’s rediscovery of this historic book.

He and his wife, violinist Rosemary Kimura Hatch, are residents of Logan, Utah where they operate the Hatch Academy of Magic and Music, dubbed by the press as, "a combination of Hogwarts and Julliard."
